The Auld Reekie is my first photography book. It contains more than 50 pictures I have taken in Edinburgh in the last 3 years. No, not food or interior, just street and reportage photography, my great passion.

Edinburgh is also known as “The Auld Reekie” which means the old smookie.

I chose this name, probably not an original choice since around Edinburgh you find it associated with many things: cheeses, pubs, drinks, etc, but I liked to recall the old nickname of the Scottish capital for this book.

The photos contained in the book tell the story of everyday life in the streets of the centre, on buses and in common places.
